Why I got into the Construction Industry.

I started in the Construction Industry after meeting my fiancé. He had been doing site development for over 37 years so I had a wealth of knowledge to draw from with him.
I started in his office and as my job duties grew to include project management, estimations, and contract negotiations, I felt the time was right to go out on my own. I obtained my Contractors License and started my own company Ameri-Con Inc. This was a huge step for me. I had spent 26 years as an RN in critical care. I loved the work I'd done as a nurse but the Construction Industry brought a new joy to my life. It is extremely challenging and fulfilling.
We are able to complete all aspects of Commercial Site Development from excavation, water, and drainage to building pad completion.
I was introduced to my John Deere Representative through my fiancé. He had used Meade Equipment for his equipment needs for many years. After seeing the performance of his JD machines it was an easy choice for me as to which company I needed to go with. I started with a 50G Mini-Excavator and a 325G Compact Track Loader and just recently purchased a 750K Smart Grade Dozer. This last piece has definitely been a game changer in our dirt moving abilities. As we all know time and material equals money and I can always count on my John Deere equipment to make it happen.
