Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Achieve sales volume, profit, and other objectives in their assigned territories. Work with employees, department managers, and Branch Operation personnel to optimize the organization’s product support opportunities.
Implement current and long term Sales and Marketing strategies, policies, procedures, plans, processes, and budgets to guide Product Support activities and ensure attainment of enterprise goals and objectives.
Maintain a high level of satisfaction among external and internal customers through personal and functional contact and timely action. Represent the company to customers, suppliers, the industry, and governmental entities in an effective, principled, and professional manner.
Support the sales and training of Technology products and systems represented by Meade Equipment to our customers.
Use of company provided tools and software to fully document, track, record, follow-up and capture all related sales activity. Use of the system will contribute directly to the proposal process, sales volume, territory awareness, participation and customer satisfaction
Follow up on machine sales and repairs exceeding designated threshold within 15 days of repair completion and submit associated documentation.
Quote/estimate parts and service repairs to customers as approved by the company or parts and service managers. Also assist the Parts and Service Departments in ensuring customer satisfaction.
Travel to customer locations as required, in various environmental conditions, to conduct sales calls, meetings, and perform equipment inspections.
Maintain a high level of knowledge concerning the products, services, and merchandising programs offered by Meade Equipment and John Deere. Complete all assigned learning programs and curriculum.
Maintain current and complete sales information as required.
Follow all policies and procedures as specified in the employee handbook and follow all safety rules and regulations in performing work assignments
